Centre
This is an ambitious project but we know
that it will help us to provide a better level of support
for the foster parents and the children they care for.
The centre will primarily provide much needed holidays and
rest for the families but it will also enable us to develop
other support activities. There is so much that we would
like to be doing and the centre will give us the base that
can make things happen.

Home
redevelopment
We visit homes where foster parents have extended their homes,
incurring great expense, specifically so that they can care
for more orphan children. Sometimes we see needs that cannot
be afforded and we would like to help. It maybe an extra
bedroom or an inside toilet. If you would like to give for
this kind of project, then please contact

Family
Days
The
foster parents work very hard to care for all the children
in their home and contact with other foster parents can be
a great support network. We are planning to organize family
conference days where the parents can share their experiences
and learn
from each other and where the children can just have a great
time playing together. Most of all we want to really bless
the families and encourage them. |

Auntie
Support
Can
you imagine how much energy you need to care for 10 children!
Most of our foster parents never get any time to themselves,
to recharge their batteries. Even when you love what you’re
doing you still need a rest from time to time. We want to develop
a support team of ‘Aunties’ who can help in the
home and also give the parents that much needed time off. |

Hospital
baby unit
Every baby needs loving care and attention but sadly some children are left in
their cots all day, just because they are orphans! We now employ two young ladies
who work in the unit, giving the babies all the love and care that they deserve.
We also pay for Pampers so that life can be a little more comfortable for them. more
